Regional Stakeholder Meetings

Regional meetings will be conducted with key stakeholders, under the chairmanship of Honourable Minister for Higher Education. These meetings aim to discuss and address the issues related to improving higher education.

Strengthening Outcome-Based Education

Efforts will focus on enhancing outcome-based education across universities to ensure all the enrolled students achieve learning goals effectively. A 5-year roadmap will be developed to implement recommended strategies.

Bridging the Skills Gap

To address the gap between industry expectations and student competencies, a new competency mapping scheme will be introduced. This scheme will help to identify and develop the skills required for students to meet industry standards. A detailed roadmap will be prepared for this initiative, aiming for significant progress over the next five years.

Effective Grievance Redressal Mechanism

A structured system will be established to handle grievances from parents, students, and the general public. The mechanism will include an escalation process to ensure timely and continuous attention to all concerns.

Developing Performance Indicators for Universities and HEIs

Clear indicators will be developed to monitor and assess the performance of universities and other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
